Hello everyone.

The Bali Bulldogs Memorial Soccer Sixes to be held F.A. Cup Final weekend, May 10th and 11th 2003.

Firstly I apologise for having to send this so soon after the recent tragedy here in Bali. As you can appreciate though, tournaments take a lot of work, time and organisation to put on. The Bali Bulldogs Football Club wish to send their heartfelt thoughts and prayers to the victims families and friends. We as a Club that live here in Bali, know all to well the grief it has bestowed on many of you.

It has a been a difficult decision on whether to go ahead with next years tournament but from a personal opinion and i know the Committee of the Bali Bulldogs will back me on this, to let mindless, cowardly murderers stop any sport around the World means they are winning. I urge all of you to step up for the tournament here in Bali, if not just to show the World that nothing will ever stop us playing this great game of Football.

Yours for Football. Kenny Latham, Director of Coaching. Bali Bulldogs Football Club.   For More details send an email to: balibulldogsoccer@hotmail.com

Hey Friends,

Though you might like to read this.

Yesterday they announced that Sting and David Bowie will together play a concert in Bali in March. Both artists have long connections with Bali. Their purpose it 1) to give ALL of the proceeds to the families of Indonesian victims of the bombs and the local hospitals, and 2) to fill every hotel room in Bali for the weekend and kick-start the return of tourists when they see it is safe. The government has waived all taxes and fees. Bowie in Bali - it will be a night to remember for a long time.

Mick Jagger, who has a house in Bali and got married there, cannot come because of a world tour. He is often seen sitting on the porch jamming with local kids. He has given one million pounds to the fund.

Regards,

Andreas
